Permitted Credits

• Transfer of funds from own SIERA and/or TIERA accounts
• Foreign Currency in the form of Currency notes, Travelers’ cheques or bank drafts brought into the country by the account holder during his / her temporary visits to Sri Lanka. These Currency notes & Travelers’ cheques should be issued outside Sri Lanka and the bank drafts should be endorsed in the name of the account holder.
• Interest accruing on the funds held in the account.

Permitted Debits

• Repatriation of funds via outward remittances
• Transfers to other SFIDAs
• Any other local disbursements
